Initial Consultation

If you are looking to improve your existing space, want a complete fresh start or just unsure where to begin... we can provide the perfect service for you.

Henry will arrange a visit to you to discuss what you want from your future garden and see the current site. Notes from the discussion will be typed up and emailed to you along with a bespoke tailored design package and proposed costs for the service

3

Site Survey

Upon acceptance of a Design Quote, we will then book in to carry out a site survey.

To create a bespoke plan for your garden, we need to take accurate measurements of the existing site. We will then transfer these documents to the computer and create a digital, scaled plan of your garden, to ensure accuracy throughout the design and build process.

4

Concept Design and Mood Board

Following the design consultation and site survey, we will begin creating a bespoke design for your garden based on our conversations. Our designs are based on the principles of unity and harmony which complement your home and surroundings.

For some customers who are unsure in what they want from their future garden we offer a bespoke mood board phase where Henry guides you through various options for your garden to ensure the garden is perfectly suited to you

When the design is complete Henry will schedule a visit to present it to you, along with a mood board of suggested materials, all the key dimensions of the design and 3D visuals to help you imagine your future space. Once the plans have been presented, we'll give you the opportunity to digest and provide further input should you wish. Options to suit your budget will be discussed at this stage.

Setting-out Drawings are now produced

Now we have a finalised vision for your garden, we create technical documents so our landscaping team can provide you a detailed quote for the work ahead and can accurately build our vision.

This detailed scaled plan will contain the framework for the build, with all necessary measurements, details of material choices and elevation drawings. We will email you a copy of this should you wish to gain quotations from other contractors.

Soft Landscaping / Planting

Once we have confirmed the hard landscaping elements (e.g. fences, walls and paving), we can now move onto the planting. Our designer will work from earlier discussions around planting and create a detailed planting plan, indicating the location of each plant for your future garden.

Once this has been designed we will again, organise a visit to present this to you along with a plant list, a plant mood board and a seasonality chart- detailing the monthly interest time of each plant. Our planting designs are created based upon client and designer discussions and the principle of ‘right plant, right place’ - selecting plants that will thrive in your garden conditions. It goes without saying that the plants we select are hard-working and support biodiversity, as well as looking beautiful and providing essential structure or privacy.

*On smaller gardens this may be presented alongside the concept design.

We supply the plants through reputable trade sources, and our expert team makes sure that each plant is planted correctly to get your garden off to the best start.
