'Urban Bloom'

We had the privilege of bringing to life a thoughtfully designed garden, originally crafted by the client’s son. After meticulous clearance and excavation, we laid the groundwork for an elegant hardscape.

 

We installed two luxurious porcelain patios adjacent to the summer house and the kitchen entrance on the lower floor. These patios were gracefully edged with sandstone cobbles, enhancing the gentle curves of the design. A pathway of Dutch clay pavers was then laid to seamlessly connect the patios and guide visitors to the rear entrance gate. The pavers were spaced with precision and finished with Flowpoint grout, ensuring minimal maintenance and a sleek look.

 

To add dimension, we introduced 200 mm Corten steel edging, creating raised planters that seamlessly integrated with the existing soil. We enriched these beds with soil improver before planting, following a carefully crafted planting plan.

 

An underground trunking system was installed for a sophisticated In-Lite app-controlled 12 V lighting system, accompanied by a bespoke water feature. Additionally, a new water mains supply was routed to the outhouse for a convenient bike-washing station.

 

Despite the logistical challenges, including a lengthy material transport route and multiple level changes, the project was executed with precision and excellence.
